“Exhaustion” is a piece I worked on over six months in spring of 2024. This work reflects my own struggles with mental health and the sense of fatigue that growing up can have on a person. The act of carving mirrored this struggle, leaving me physically exhausted after each session. Through its form and texture, "Exhaustion" invites viewers to connect with the universal experience of fatigue, encouraging reflection on the need for rest and the literal weight it can bear.
